IT'S OFFICIAL

Since the cruise we have all been very busy with soccer and cheerleading. Lexie is getting ready for competition and is having practice every night. Yuck.

I however have finally succeeded. Yes, me!!! Can you believe it. I can finally say I am done with 225. My life as a full-time student is finally over. Now, I have to go back and live in the real world of working.

Hopefully next time I write something I will be all done with my interning and actually working. Yippee!!

Fall Activities

The summer is almost over! That means it is time for all the fall sports.
So FYI Lexie is cheering for the Rams this fall and Drew is playing soccer for National Trails. So we should be pretty busy. I also think we are going to get Drew involved in Cub Scouts. I think it would be a lot of fun for him and he seems to really want to do it. Hopefully it will help him become more independant. (We CAN ONLY HOPE!) Anyway, we are planning on maybe trying to get Lexie involved in 4-H with Scrappy, won't that be a funny thing to watch. I will keep you all updated on what is going on through the fall season, but for now, Lexie has a game in Mechanicsburg at 3:30 on Sunday for all who want to attend.

THE CRUISE

Well, we are home from the cruise. It was wonderful. The weather was wonderful. I know a lot of people were worried about us and we thank you for that, but to be honest we didn't even have any rain. It was all blue sky and sunshine.
The ship was beautiful. When we got to the port the Disney cruise ship and the Carnival cruise ship were there also. Our ship which was called, "The Mariner of the Sea" was the biggest. The other two didn't even come close to comparison.
We got to go snorkling and had a great time. The kids did really well. I was very proud of them.
The dinners were fabulous and the staff couldn't have been any better.
We got to go shopping and saw a couple of shows.
Rob and the kids also got to climb the rock wall.
There was so much to do and there is a lot that we never even got to see. It was amazing.
For all of you who have never been on a cruise, if I were you, I would go and book one tomorrow. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Trust me you will be spoiled before the week is up.
I have added some pictures!!

ONE DAY LEFT

Well, I am in my final hours before leaving for the cruise.
I am so excited. I think we are actually pretty much all packed finally. It only took all week to get the packing done.
I am sure I will have a lot to tell when we get back and lots of pictures to show.
I'll be thinking of everyone while I am sitting on the boat enjoying the ocean!!!

The Camping Trip

Well, we are back from camping and it was really nice. The weather was perfect.
Friday night we just kind of sat around the fire and relaxed until all of a sudden we had tons of raccoons coming out from the woods. They didn't seem to be phased by us at all.
On Saturday we went hiking for about 3 hours. It was really peaceful and the kids loved it. They got to get in the water a little and actually found some shells.
Also on Saturday, we took the kids on a bike ride. Needless to say, Saturday evening they were all pretty tired and ready for bed.
Sunday we got up and basically packed our stuff up and headed home. I have added some pictures of our trip. ENJOY!

THE CRUISE

On August 16 we will be taking a cruise with Royal Caribbean with my Dad, Pam, Linda (Pam's sister), the kids, Rob, and myself.

We are finally on a countdown. . Yippee.

We will be going to St. Marten, St. Thomas, and CocoCay.

I will be adding pictures when we get back!!

Camping

We are going camping at John Bryan the weekend of the 25th.
It should be interesting. We have no showers and no electric.
Lets just hope it isn't extreme hot outside.
There will be 6 kids and 6 adults so as you can see we will be busy.
I'll post pictures when we get back.
